Remember, issues with tiredness and fatigue are very debilitating. These can be discussed with your clinician and it is necessary to find ways to deal with these effects. Keep a diary of how you are, and work out how you can do small activities interspersed with rest. There is a wonderful video on the ITP Support Association You Tube Channel of a presentation by John Semple to our annual convention earlier this year. It explains in very easy to understand language WHY ITP OCCURS. Thoroughly recommended.

Our Covid-19 Vaccine Survey is still open, we have added some additional questions covering the Booster vaccine jab. We would also welcome any youngsters with ITP (18’s and below) who have had their vaccine to complete the survey. Please go to our website at: https://www.itpsupport.org.uk/index.p… to take part. The initial survey results can also be found on our website. https://www.itpsupport.org.uk/index.p…

Another excellent video that folk may wish to check out about ITP and bleeding is on the ITP Support Association You Tube Channel. Again, it was from a presentation to our annual convention earlier this year by Dr Nichola Cooper on bleeding in ITP. Well worth a watch.
