Pauline Woods, raising money for ITP, in her own words

As someone with ITP, on a good day I might not feel anything at all, other days I’m covered in bruises then on bad days, I feel like someone has poured all the energy out of my body and I could literally sit down wherever I am (in the office, in the street), and sleep. I have also been asked, on more than one occasion, if I get beaten up, I can assure you, I do not! But I decided to try my hand at running (and raising a few pounds for the charity).

So last year I took part in a 5k run, and I thought if I was going to do another one this year, I’d should go further. So, I then took part in the Simplyhealth 10k Great Women’s Run in Glasgow in June. Because of these efforts I am pleased to say that I managed to raise £413 for the ITP Support Association.

A big thank you to Pauline from everyone at the ITP Support Association
