Golfers club together raised £500 for ITP Charity
Warm-hearted golfers supported this year’s Clive Cooper Conies Open competition at Tredegar Park Golf Club (Gwent) on 25th August 2024.
Over 20 teams enter the four-person team format. The day began with registration bolstered by tea and biscuits. The teams then took part in an 18-hole competition which ended with a meal provided by the club’s fabulous catering staff.
The winning team was Peter Durston, Lee Bayley, Carl Evans and myself but the real winner of course was the charity.
Many thanks to everyone who supported the event, including all the management and staff at the golf club who did a lot of work behind the scenes to make the day the success it was.
On a personal note, I suffer from ITP and so recognise first-hand the impact this condition has on close family and the importance of their support whilst being diagnosed and treated.
