Access to Sexual and Reproductive Health Information Among Young People with ITP and Other Blood Conditions
Adolescents and young adults (AYA) living with immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) and other blood conditions are invited to take part in a confidential survey exploring access to sexual and reproductive health (SRH) information and support.

This research aims to better understand the perspectives and unmet needs of younger haematology patients – particularly regarding the ways SRH topics are communicated in clinical care settings. The study includes both malignant and non-malignant blood conditions, including ITP.
Eligible participants must be aged 18 to 35 years, and people of all genders are encouraged to take part. The survey will take approximately 10–20 minutes to complete. Initial screening questions will confirm eligibility, after which participants will be directed to a consent form and the main survey.
The findings will a study conducted by the EHA Patient Advocacy Committee (PAC) at the European Haematology Association (EHA). Its findings aim to help inform broader discussions on improving healthcare communication and services for young people living with blood disorders like ITP.
All responses will remain anonymous, and no personal data will be collected unless participants choose to provide an email address to receive a summary of the results. Data will be stored securely and in line with GDPR regulations.
