Lexy Monks and friends

Back in October 2017, Lexy Monks and friends ran in the Manchester 10km Rough Runner to raise money for the ITP Support Association (Lexy's Mum has ITP). The run coincided with Storm Brian hitting the UK, hence the rather muddy conditions in the photograph. Despite the weather Lexy and friends completed the course and smashed their fundraising target (£150) by raising an incredable £485.20. Well done Lexy and Friends.

Congratulations to Laura Thomson who has raised a huge £1,300 for The ITP Support Association.

Laura’s father, Neil Thomson (a father of five girls) has been suffering from ITP since 2011.

On Sunday 1st October Laura ran in the Great Scottish Run in Glasgow with her mother in law Elaine Gibson to help raise funds for ITP. Unfortunately one week prior to the run Laura took a tumble and dislocated her right shoulder, did that stop her taking part, NO, like a true star she took part in the run and both Laura and Elaine crossed the finishing line with a time of 1 hour 16 minutes.

Donate to the ITP Support Association via Charity Choice

All donations large or small are very much appreciated.

The ITP Support Association depends entirely on support from its friends and helpers and, of course, all donations are very gratefully received. This helps us to maintain the service we offer to those with ITP and their families and boost our Research Fund. But those who pay income tax can increase the value of their donations to the ITP Support Association without it costing them one penny more.

Ross Olney and friends

Ross Olney raised £676 from a 100km cycle ride with the help of Lea Barn Stables in Wexham, followed by a cake and coffee sale. Ross told us that this was the first time he had organised such an event, and the ITP Support Association was his chosen charity as we had helped his parents through a tough time in 2016 when his father was diagnosed with ITP. Sadly, due to further complications, his Dad passed away at the end of November last year.

Pictured in red, Phil decided to raise funds for The ITP Support Association as his 5 year old daughter Evie has the condition. Phil bravely trained for a "white collar boxing" event and raised £193.75 (inc gift aid) which is tremendous. No harm was done to Phil in this event!
